RoboForex Partner Code qbm: Get Up to 90% Daily Rebate on Every Lot

Senior Writer, Deals

Our experts independently review everything we recommend. If you buy through our links, we may earn commission.

The RoboForex partner code is qbm. It is attached when you open your account, and what it changes is not your spread, your leverage, or your execution. It changes what a lot actually costs you, because up to 90% of the commission your trading generates comes back to you as a daily rebate.

That distinction is the whole point of this article. Most broker comparison content argues about advertised spreads, which are the number brokers optimise for marketing and the number that least resembles what an active trader actually pays over a month. Rebates operate on the other side of the ledger, and for anyone running meaningful volume they move the total cost figure considerably further than a fraction of a pip on a EUR/USD quote ever does.

What a Partner Code Actually Does 2026

A partner code is not a bonus, a promotion, or a discount voucher. It is an attribution link written into your account when the account is created. RoboForex operates a partner programme in which introducing partners earn commission on the trading volume of clients attributed to them. That commission is generated by your activity and paid by the broker out of its own revenue. It does not come out of your balance, it does not widen your spread, and it does not change the price you are filled at. Whether a partner code is attached or not, your trading costs the same. The difference is what happens to that partner commission. With no code, it stays where the broker's default routing sends it. With code qbm attached, it is generated against a partner arrangement that returns up to 90% of it to you as a rebate, credited daily.

So the practical effect is a rebate on volume you were going to trade anyway, funded by a payment you were never going to see. That is why rebate arrangements are close to structurally free from the trader's side: the cost was already priced into the broker's model. The attribution is set at account opening. That timing is the one hard constraint in the whole arrangement, and it is far cleaner than trying to have an existing account reassigned afterwards, which brokers generally do not do.

What "Up to 90%" Is 90% Of

Being precise here matters, because this figure is routinely misread. The 90% is a share of the partner commission your trading generates. It is not 90% of your spread, not 90% of your commission paid to the broker, and definitely not 90% of your losses. The chain runs like this: You trade a lot. The broker generates revenue from that lot through the spread or the commission on your account type. A defined portion of that revenue is allocated to the partner your account is attributed to. Up to 90% of that allocated portion is rebated back to you. Three consequences follow. The rebate is proportional to volume, not to profit. You receive it on winning trades and losing trades identically, because it is calculated from lots traded, not from outcome. For a strategy going through a drawdown, this is the only line on the account that is still adding.

The rebate figure varies by account type and instrument. Different account types generate different amounts of broker revenue per lot, and different instruments carry different spreads and commission structures. A lot of EUR/USD on a Prime account does not produce the same rebate as a lot of an exotic pair on a Pro account. Anyone quoting you a single fixed dollar figure per lot across all conditions is simplifying. Up to means up to. The top of the range applies to the highest-generating configurations. Your actual rate depends on how you are set up and what you trade. None of this makes rebates less worthwhile. It just means the honest way to evaluate them is against your own instrument mix and volume, not against a headline percentage.

RoboForex Account Types and Where the Rebate Lands

Account Minimum deposit Spread Commission Max leverage Best suited to

ProCent $10 From 1.3 pips None Up to 1:2000 Live testing at cent-sized risk, Pro $10 From 1.3 pips None Up to 1:2000 Swing and position trading, no commission to track, ECN $10 From 0.0 pips $20 per $1M traded Up to 1:500 Scalping and short-term systems needing raw spread, Prime $10 From 0.0 pips $10 per $1M traded Up to 1:300 Highest-volume traders, lowest all-in cost, R StocksTrader $100 Varies by instrument Varies Up to 1:500 forex, lower on shares Real shares and ETFs, 12,000+ instruments.

The rebate applies to volume traded across account types, so the choice above is still made the way it always would be: on spread structure, commission, and leverage requirements rather than on rebate maximisation. That said, the interaction is worth understanding. Commission-based accounts like ECN and Prime make your cost per lot explicit and easy to compute, which also makes the rebate easy to measure against it. Spread-based accounts like Pro fold the cost into the price, which is more convenient day to day but harder to audit. If you are the kind of trader who wants to know precisely what a strategy costs to run, the commission-based accounts plus a rebate give you a clean, verifiable number. Accounts are opened through the same route regardless: register via my.roboforex.com/en/?a=qbm and select the account type during setup.

Why Rebates Move the Number More Than Spreads Do

Here is the argument in plain arithmetic. Assume a trader running 100 standard lots a month on a commission-based account. Commission at $10 per million on Prime means a standard lot of 100,000 units costs $1 per side, so $2 round turn, so $200 a month in commission. Add the spread cost, which on a raw-spread account is genuinely near zero on major pairs during liquid hours but real on wider instruments and during news. Now compare two ways of reducing that cost. Route one is broker shopping on advertised spread. Moving to a broker advertising a slightly tighter average spread might save a fraction of a pip on some fills. It might also cost you more in slippage, requotes, or execution speed, and the advertised average tells you nothing about the distribution during the hours you actually trade. The saving is real but unpredictable, and it costs you a broker migration to obtain.

Route two is a rebate on volume you are already trading, at the broker you already chose, on the account type you already selected. It arrives daily, it is calculable in advance from your lot count, and it requires no change to your strategy, platform, or execution. For a trader at 100 lots a month, route two is the larger and more certain effect. At 500 or 1,000 lots a month it is not close. And the difference compounds: a rebate paid daily on a strategy that is turning over consistently is a steady reduction in the effective cost of every position you open for as long as you keep the account. This is why rebate arrangements matter most to precisely the traders who talk about them least: high-frequency systems, scalping strategies, expert advisors running continuously, and copy trading portfolios where volume accumulates without discretionary decisions. Those are all volume-heavy by construction.

The daily part of daily rebate is not cosmetic, and it is worth spelling out why. A monthly rebate is a lump payment arriving after the fact. A daily rebate is credited on the previous day's volume, which means it is available to be withdrawn, or to be traded as additional margin, or simply to sit in the account offsetting the running cost of positions you currently hold. For a trader running consistent volume, the practical effect is that the cost of the strategy is being partially refunded almost in real time rather than a month in arrears. Over a year of continuous trading, that difference in timing is not enormous in absolute terms, but it changes how the account feels to operate: the cost line and the rebate line move together instead of the rebate arriving as an occasional surprise. It also makes verification straightforward. You can check yesterday's lot count against yesterday's rebate credit and confirm the arrangement is working as described. A monthly payment obscures this. A daily one does not, which is a reasonable thing to want from any arrangement involving someone else's percentage.

Who This Is Actually For Rebate arrangements are not equally valuable to everyone, and pretending otherwise wastes people's time. They matter substantially to high-volume traders. If you turn over hundreds of lots a month, the rebate is a serious line item and the single easiest cost reduction available to you. They matter substantially to automated strategies. Expert advisors and algorithmic systems generate volume mechanically and continuously. The rebate scales with that volume without requiring any change to the system's logic. For a marginally profitable system, the rebate can be the difference between viable and not.

They matter to scalpers and short-term traders. High trade frequency means cost per trade dominates the P&L. A rebate directly reduces the number that dominates. They matter to copy trading participants. RoboForex's CopyFX platform generates volume through copied positions, and that volume is attributable in the same way as manual trading. They matter less to low-frequency position traders. If you open four trades a month and hold them for weeks, your total volume is small and the rebate will be correspondingly small. It is still free, and it is still worth attaching, but it will not change your economics. The general rule is that rebate value scales with turnover, and turnover is the thing you should measure before deciding how much weight to give it.

Opening an Account With Code qbm

Open my.roboforex.com/en/?a=qbm so the partner attribution is carried in the URL. Register the Members Area with your email and set a password. Verify your email address. Open a trading account inside the Members Area, choosing account type (ProCent, Pro, ECN, Prime, or R StocksTrader), base currency, and platform. Complete identity verification. This is required before withdrawals and worth doing immediately rather than at the point you want to take money out. Fund the account and confirm your rebate is accruing after your first day of trading.

Step one is the only one that cannot be repeated. Everything else in that list can be changed, added to, or redone later. The partner attribution is written when the Members Area is created, so a browser that strips URL parameters, or a detour through a different entry point mid-signup, is the failure mode to watch for. Step six is worth actually doing rather than assuming. Trade something, wait for the daily cycle, and confirm the credit appears. Verifying an arrangement on day one is easier than reconstructing why it never worked three months in.

If You Already Have a RoboForex Account Partner attribution is set at account creation, and brokers generally do not reassign existing clients between partners on request. This is standard across the industry and is not specific to RoboForex. Realistically, your options are: Contact support and ask. The answer is usually no, but it costs nothing to establish that directly rather than assuming. Open through the link going forward. If you have been considering a second account for a different strategy, a different account type, or a separation between manual and automated trading, that is a natural point at which the attribution can be set correctly. Confirm with RoboForex what its policy is on multiple accounts under one Members Area before relying on this. Do nothing. An unattributed account trades identically. You simply receive no rebate on the volume, which is the status quo you are already in. For anyone who has not yet opened an account, the takeaway is straightforward: the link is the only step in the process that has to happen first.

What the Partner Code Does Not Do It does not change your spread, your execution, or your fill quality. Those are functions of your account type and market conditions. It does not change your leverage cap, which is set by account type. It does not reduce the commission you pay to the broker. It returns a share of separate partner commission generated by your volume. It does not create a bonus or a deposit credit. There is nothing to claim and nothing with a wagering condition attached. It does not guarantee profitability. A rebate reduces cost. It does not make a losing strategy profitable, and any framing that suggests otherwise should be treated with suspicion. It does not override regional restrictions or verification requirements.

Regulation, Regions, and What to Check First RoboForex Ltd is licensed in Belize and its group entities do not target clients in the EU, EEA, or UK. If you are in one of those jurisdictions, this is the first thing to establish rather than the last, because it determines whether an account is available to you at all. Beyond that, a few practical checks before funding anything: Confirm the instruments you actually trade are available on the account type you are choosing, and check their specific spread and commission treatment rather than assuming the headline figures apply universally. Confirm the leverage available on your chosen account type suits your risk model. The 1:2000 figure applies to ProCent and Pro; ECN caps at 1:500 and Prime at 1:300. Note that RoboForex provides negative balance protection and offers swap-free trading across account types under stated conditions, both of which are worth reading in the broker's own terms rather than in summary. Understand that leveraged forex and CFD trading carries substantial risk of loss. A rebate improves your cost structure. It does not change the risk profile of the positions you take.

Frequently Asked Questions What is the RoboForex partner code? The partner code is qbm. Opening your account through my.roboforex.com/en/?a=qbm attributes it to that partner and enables a rebate of up to 90% of generated commission, credited daily. Does using a partner code cost me anything? No. The partner commission is paid by the broker out of its own revenue and is generated whether or not a code is attached. Your spread, commission and execution are unchanged. What exactly is the 90% calculated from? The partner commission your trading volume generates, not your spread, your broker commission, or your profit or loss. Is the rebate paid on losing trades? Yes. It is calculated from lots traded rather than from outcome, so it accrues identically on winning and losing positions. How often is it paid? Daily, on the previous day's volume.

  • Does it apply to all account types? Rebates accrue on traded volume across account types, though the amount generated per lot differs by account type and instrument. Commission-based accounts such as ECN and Prime make the calculation easiest to verify. Can I add the partner code to an existing account? Generally no. Attribution is set when the account is created and brokers do not usually reassign existing clients. You can ask support directly, but expect a no. What is the minimum deposit? $10 on ProCent, Pro, ECN and Prime. $100 on R StocksTrader. What leverage is available? Up to 1:2000 on ProCent and Pro, up to 1:500 on ECN, and up to 1:300 on Prime.

  • Which platforms can I use? MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, R WebTrader, R MobileTrader, and the proprietary R StocksTrader platform for shares and ETFs. Do copied trades on CopyFX generate rebates? Copied positions generate volume in the same way manual trades do, and volume is what the rebate is calculated from. Does the rebate work with expert advisors? Yes. Automated systems generate volume mechanically, which is precisely the pattern rebates reward most. Is RoboForex available in my country? RoboForex Ltd is licensed in Belize and does not target EU, EEA, or UK clients. Confirm availability for your jurisdiction before opening an account. Will a rebate make my strategy profitable? No. It reduces the cost of running a strategy. Whether the strategy has an edge is a separate question and one the rebate does not answer.

  • Conclusion

  • RoboForex partner code qbm does one thing, and it does it to a part of the account most traders never optimise. Attribution set at signup returns up to 90% of the partner commission your volume generates, credited daily, on every lot regardless of whether the position won. It is worth being clear about the size of the claim. This is not a strategy, an edge, or a shortcut. It is a reduction in the cost of trading you were going to do anyway, funded from a revenue stream that exists whether you capture a share of it or not. For a low-frequency trader that is a marginal improvement. For anyone running serious volume, automated systems, or short-term strategies where cost per trade dominates, it is one of the few adjustments available that improves the numbers without touching the strategy. The mechanism has one requirement: the attribution has to be in place when the account is created. If you are opening a RoboForex account, open it through my.roboforex.com/en/?a=qbm, select your account type during setup, and check that the rebate credits after your first trading day. Risk warning: Trading leveraged forex and CFD products carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, and you can lose more than your initial reasoning about a position anticipated. Rebate rates, account specifications, commission structures and regional availability are set by RoboForex and may change. This article is informational and does not constitute financial advice.

Do you sweat or get hot at night? Here's how to pick bedding that will actually keep you cool, according to experts

Wake up refreshed, not roasting, with breathable layers and other smart swaps.

Senior Writer, Commerce Initiatives

Our experts independently review everything we recommend. If you buy through our links, we may earn commission.

Sleeping like a baby starts with bedding that allows for plenty of airflow all night long. (Elizaveta Starkova via Getty Images)

Before I found bedding that worked for me, I would buy sheets that felt nice and cool against my skin — but hours later, I was sticking one leg out before finally kicking all the covers off. I can't recall how many sets of sheets I've bought because I'm a hot sleeper, and I know I'm not alone.

While many sheets labeled as "cooling" might feel nice and chilly when you first climb into bed, that doesn't mean they'll keep you cool until morning. And sometimes the kind of bedding that feels cold to the touch may not be the kind that can actually help manage heat and moisture while you're sound asleep. Things like the fabric, weave, weight, breathability and moisture management all play a role.

So before you spend a small fortune on the latest and greatest temperature-regulating sheets, check out what the experts have to say about what really matters when you're shopping for bedding as a hot sleeper.

Don't rely on a 'cool to the touch' feel

I've been tricked many times by sheets that felt nice and cool, but once I got them home and slept on them, I had the opposite experience. That's because some fabrics and cooling technologies can create an immediate cool-to-the-touch sensation, according to Meredith McQuerry, associate professor and director of the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab and Textile Testing Laboratory at Florida State University. Her lab measures thermal effusivity, which describes how a material feels when your skin first comes into contact with it.

But there's a catch: You don't sleep for just five minutes. "Sleep is a long-duration activity in which heat from the body transfers to the surrounding bedding, eventually reaching equilibrium," she explains. That means a sheet that feels icy when you first climb into bed may not necessarily be the one that keeps you comfortable at 3 a.m. Once your body has been in contact with the fabric for hours, other factors like air permeability, moisture management and absorbency start to matter, she says.

McQuerry also says that a sheet that initially feels warmer can be more comfortable through the night if it does a better job managing heat and moisture. The key here is to stop judging bedding solely by what happens when you touch it, and instead on what happens later.

Unfortunately, the "touch test" doesn't always paint a full picture when you're looking for cooling sheets.

Do look for bedding that can actually breathe

Bedding that allows good airflow should be high on the list for anyone who sleeps hot, according to Sammy Wang, a laundry scientist with P&G. She recommends looking for breathable fabrics and lightweight weaves that allow air to circulate rather than trap heat and moisture against your body. McQuerry agrees, noting that a looser, lower-density weave is typically more breathable and moisture-permeable. That can allow heat to dissipate and sweat to evaporate rather than leaving you feeling hot and clammy under the covers.

Breathable, lightweight fabrics tend to be made from natural fibers like cotton and linen, which Wang says are great options for hot sleepers. Just note that even though you might be choosing between two sets of sheets made from the same fiber, like cotton, they might have different weights, densities and weaves. One might feel light and airy, while the other one might feel substantially heavier and more insulating.

And if none of your sheets are made from these fibers, don't immediately toss them. "Material alone doesn't always determine comfort or temperature management," Wang says, noting that construction, fabric weight and care also play important roles. McQuerry agrees, noting that some synthetic fibers are specially engineered to feel cooler.

Don't assume a higher thread count is better

Most of us think a higher thread count means a more luxurious fabric. And while that might be true in some circumstances, especially when it comes to softness, a higher thread count isn't necessarily better when it comes to temperature control, Wang says. Extremely high thread counts can create a denser fabric that may restrict airflow, she adds.

So instead of obsessing over the number on the package, Wang recommends paying attention to the overall quality of the fabric, its comfort and most importantly, breathability and airflow. Yahoo Senior Home Editor Jessica Dodell-Feder agrees: "Thread count isn't really that important … it's not the best way to buy cooling sheets." The CGK Unlimited set below made our best cooling sheets list with a relatively modest 200 thread count.

Also worth noting: thread count is a bigger concern when you're shopping for cotton sheets, Dallas-based interior designer Amy Switzer previously told Yahoo. You typically won't see a thread count on fabrics like linen, which are instead measured by weight.

Do consider moisture management

As a hot sleeper, your main concern may be managing heat and maintaining airflow. But as a sweaty sleeper, moisture management becomes another issue to tackle.

People who experience significant night sweats will benefit from breathable, lightweight materials with moisture management properties, Wang says, since the goal is to move sweat off the skin. Some specialty fabrics are specifically engineered for cooling or moisture management, she adds. Dodell-Feder says that includes semi-synthetic fabrics like lyocell and viscose, which are great at wicking moisture — though she adds that those materials generally go through a chemical process to convert them into fabric, despite the fact that they're often marketed as "natural."

If you'd rather stick with fully natural fibers, McQuerry says to again look for sheets made from cotton and linen — those have higher air and moisture permeability compared to sheets that feel instantly cool. In other words, look for fabric that's breathable because it allows more air to move through and can help wick away your sweat.

Sweat, body oils, skin cells and personal-care products can build up on your bedding over time, especially if you're a heavy sweater. That buildup can affect how comfortable your sheets feel, which means you may need to wash them more often to benefit from the cooling properties. And how you wash your sheets matters: Wang recommends following the care label, using a quality detergent and avoiding overloading the washing machine so your sheets can actually get clean.

Do consider swapping out more than your sheets

If you've already invested in breathable sheets and you're still waking up sweaty, consider what else you can tweak about your sleep setup. While McQuerry says sheets can play a significant role in keeping sleepers comfortable, your mattress, mattress protector and pajamas also contribute to how much heat is surrounding your body at night.

For instance, McQuerry notes that research in her lab has demonstrated a 2°F Fahrenheit reduction in skin temperature thanks to pajamas with active cooling technologies. Look for fabrics with loose, breathable weaves and moisture-wicking properties similar to those you'd want in your sheets, such as cotton, linen and bamboo.

Mattress protectors are often made of plastic or vinyl, which don't allow much airflow. Swap yours for one that's made of breathable fabric like cotton to keep body heat from being trapped. As for comforters, stick with a lightweight design that still allows airflow — my personal worth-the-splurge favorite is the Rest Evercool cooling comforter, which also earned a spot on our best cooling comforters guide. It's instantly cool to the touch but stays that way, plus it's super light and airy.

Amazon is selling a compact Keurig coffeemaker for just $50 (plus 10 more fab deals)

Score savings on everything you need for a busy fall, from a Keurig coffeemaker to a pair of comfy Hoka sneakers.

Editor, Deals

Our experts independently review everything we recommend. If you buy through our links, we may earn commission.

Every new season, I take stock and make a few small life changes — kind of like mini New Year's resolutions without waiting until January. This fall, I'm working on more structured morning and before-bed routines now that my kiddo's back in school (unfortunately, that means waking up earlier). I also want to schedule time to work out at home and plan more "micro-adventures" with the family (our code for easy half-day hikes, bike rides or climbs). For those early wakeup calls, coffee is non-negotiable, and this Keurig, down to just $50, will have your morning joe brewed fast. And for both running errands and actual running, I stick with Hokas, conveniently on sale today in almost every shade at REI. Scroll on to find more fall essentials for less.

âž¡ Head's up! Labor Day is coming, and that means sales are about to kick into high gear. Take a look at the best early Labor Day deals now and check back for Yahoo's full coverage as the rest of the week unfolds.

Our top deal of the day

Why we love it: This ultra-compact Keurig brews a single serving at a time — but it's so quick that caffeinating multiple people doesn't take long. At just 5 inches across, it won't take up much space on a countertop. In fact, it can go anywhere you have access to an outlet — your desk, a dorm room, break rooms. Just add water, your preferred K-Cup flavor (or use your own grounds with a My K-Cup) and enjoy a cup whenever you want. And since it weighs less than 5 pounds, you can take it just about anywhere! You could even glamp with it if you tote along some power.

Why it's a great deal: Compare the $50 price of this tiny wonder to a daily trip to your local coffee shop — the Keurig may very well pay for itself in two weeks. All four colors (green, black, red and pink) are on sale, making it easy to coordinate with your decor. At $40 off, it matches the lowest price we've seen for this coffeemaker all year.

Cliftons are among the brand's most popular picks, and it's easy to see why. "They're absolutely cloud-like," raves Yahoo Senior Editor Izabella Zaydenberg. "They were the only shoes that didn't exacerbate my plantar fasciitis (especially when I walked for hours at Disneyland)." The knit upper is breathable, the rubber sole provides solid traction, and while they run a little narrow and bulky, they're lightweight enough for all-day wear.

These comfy bestsellers rarely go on sale, and when they do, the markdown is usually for one color, not all of them. Right now, you've got a good shot at finding your size, but maybe not your first-choice color — availability varies quite a bit by shade. They're discounted in both men's and women's versions.

If you're new to the retinol game or have dry skin, CeraVe's formula is an excellent place to start — in fact, it's our best-tested retinol serum for beginners and users with dry skin. It contains just a .3% concentration, which means it will be gentler and less drying than higher-potency products.

It's also filled with skin-calming agents like niacinamide and moisturizing hyaluronic acid to further hydrate and smooth wrinkles.

Great time to buy: At a fantastic 55% off, this mega-selling serum (over 40,000 have been purchased just this month!) is a total steal.

If you've ever been in a car with one charger and two dying phones, read on. On a recent road trip, my wife and I realized we had two USB ports but only one charging cable, and both of our phones were dying. She won. The first thing I did when I got home? Bought two more cables.

You don't need to worry about that with this charger, because it has two cables — a USB-C and a Lightning cable — built right in, perfect for our iPhone 14 and iPhone 16. Have two newer phones? You can still plug your own cable into either the USB-C or USB-A ports.

Still dealing with a menagerie of remotes every time you want to watch TV? Stop the insanity with this easy and intuitive top-seller (which happens to be the newest model) that can replace 'em all. You'll be able to effortlessly switch between the news, sports, live TV and your favorite streaming platforms for easy access to millions of shows and movies.

Looking to beef up your 4K viewing experience? The 4K Select, 4K Plus and 4K Max Fire Sticks are also on sale. If you're wondering which one to get, my recommendation is to snag the one that best fits your budget, with the 4K Max being my pick, as it is the most powerful and offers more features than the cheaper models, while still being affordable.

Those floppy headrests you're sleeping on aren't doing your neck any favors — but you can upgrade to this plush, supportive pair for under $30. Designed to keep you comfortable whether you sleep on your stomach, back, or side, they offer just the right balance of softness and support. They're also machine washable, making them easy to keep clean and durable for years to come. "These are great pillows for the price," wrote a satisfied snoozer. "Nice and comfy like hotel pillows."

Good deal: While the starting price is a bit inflated, you're not likely to see this duo on sale for less than it is now.

My one complaint about my air fryer is it's not big enough to cook a frozen pizza. Well, okay, one more critique: It also takes up a bit more room than I'd like. So I've got my eye on this one from Ninja this Labor Day. Not only is it roomy enough for a 12-inch pizza, it flips up on its back (let it cool first!) and takes up less space on your countertop.

The reasoning behind any air fryer like this is extra evident in the summer when turning on the oven is pure lunacy. And this one can bake, toast, dehydrate and roast in addition to its air fry functions. One recent shopper said it "could be the best air fryer [they've] ever had." They even point out that it's easy to clean.

Good deal: A quality, cook-everything air fryer that can handle pizzas for just $150? Sold! We've also only seen this unit dip a few bucks lower this year (and that was months ago), so if you're looking to upgrade, the time is now.

Here at Yahoo, we're big fans of Dyson vacuums. They're among the most powerful floor cleaners we've tested, and this sturdy upright model is no exception. Its self-adjusting head automatically adapts to both hard flooring and carpets, and its 15-foot-long hose and wand can reach those higher surfaces. Plus, its signature ball design makes maneuvering around furniture and corners a breeze.

Great time to buy: Not all Dyson deals get our attention, but the $130 markdown on this Walmart bestseller sure did. This price is one of the best we've seen all year, and scoring a Dyson for around $200 always feels like a win.

I reviewed the 85-inch version of this TV and had a slew of good things to say. It doesn't ask you to compromise on size to stay in budget. It just asks you to be honest about what you're buying. This is a big-screen TV built for people who want to go large without the financing plan and at this price point, nothing else comes close to the real estate it delivers.

Great time to buy: "This 65-incher isn't quite as large as the one he tried, but it's also a couple hundred dollars cheaper," says Senior Tech Writer Amy Skorheim. "For just $240, you get a 4K picture and HDR 10 for brighter brights and deeper darks. It's a smart TV that uses Amazon's Fire TV interface — if you've used Amazon's Prime Video app, you'll have a fairly good feel for the navigation. The remote is small, but it has Alexa built in so you can control the TV with your voice."

You can't go wrong with classic stainless steel cookware, and Made In's sought-after pieces are rarely marked down. That said, this award-winning set is 40% off and includes small, medium and large pans to suit all of your stir-frying and sautéing needs. They come with a lifetime warranty for peace of mind, and you won't have to worry about "forever chemicals" making their way into your food. This one's a true contender for my own cart (I'm a fan of the brand's other cookware as well).

Good deal: This price currently beats Amazon's by $10, even with their added coupon.

Calling all jewelry enthusiasts: We've found just the earrings to infuse some sparkle into your day without going into bling overload. Available in yellow, white and rose gold, this gorgeous pair will help zhuzh up whatever outfit you happen to be wearing. Suddenly, a pair of jeans and your favorite fall crewneck will feel more elevated — it's the small details, you know?

Great time to buy: Yes, even with Holden's 10% discount (which applies to everything on its site), they're a bit of a splurge. But you're getting solid gold pieces, not plated or filled, and 1% of all purchases are donated to The Trevor Project.

I throw a huge Halloween party every year — here's why it's always a hit

You don't have to ditch costumes, candy or silly fun — here's how to make your party feel just grown-up enough.

When I say I'm a big fan of Halloween, it's a whopper of an understatement. I like to keep the spooky spirit alive year-round, and I adore anything ooky, kooky and frightful. Over time, I've become the person my friends go to to get into the Halloween mood, and that naturally led to me becoming the designated (G)Host with the Most for our Samhain celebrations. I've hosted a big Halloween party almost every year for over a decade, and in that time I've figured out a pretty good checklist for throwing a successful fête that evokes the nostalgic fun of childhood Halloweens while still being decidedly adult. This year, I'm sharing my top five tips for hosting a fab Halloween party that feels grown-up without fully eschewing whimsy — so you can enjoy your own ghoulishly good time and treat your guests to a spooktacular evening.

Tip #1: Set the scene for all the senses

A general rule of thumb for any successful adult-geared party (and not just for Halloween) is to create a comprehensive "scene" in your space. I always start with the lighting: Smart bulbs let you dial in the color and mood, then reuse them for other holidays or even sync them to music. Halloween-specific touches like flameless candles and colored string lights add instant atmosphere with almost no effort.

Music is a low-lift, high-reward way to add energy to a party. The perfect Halloween party playlist can be key to keeping vibes high, and helps fill in any gaps in conversation. Whether you choose one of the thousands of pre-made playlists out there or create one yourself, the key is to choose a variety of upbeat songs that a range of guests will enjoy.

I like having a good portable Bluetooth speaker that can follow the party from room to room — or out to the patio — as guests move around. Choose one with enough power to fill the space without overwhelming conversation, and clear sound that holds up once the party gets noisy.

A couple other little touches can go a long way. Fragrance is one: Light a few Halloween-y candles or use a candle warmer to add a subliminally festive layer to the atmosphere.

You can also use screens to extend the decor beyond the obvious. I like putting Halloween ambience videos on TVs in a few rooms, then I set up a queue of a few Halloween movies with the volume low and subtitles on in the living room. It gives guests a quieter place to sit and chat with a little entertainment, but without turning the TV into the main event.

Tip #2: Work with the theming, not against it

Hosting a Halloween party for adults doesn't have to mean everything has to be super fancy and refined — after all, a major hallmark of the holiday is its whimsy and sense of fun. The trick is to lean into the theme without making it feel like an elementary-school classroom party.

There are plenty of ways to incorporate spooky theming in a more elevated way, especially with food and drink. Giving each dish a Halloween-inspired name keeps things playful without resorting to kiddie snacks (though honestly, who doesn't enjoy a Pig in a Blanket wrapped to resemble a mummy?).

And since this is a party for adults, you can have just as much fun with themed cocktails and other libations. Each year, I pre-make shot cups to hand out throughout the party, and they're always a huge hit. A particular favorite is my pumpkin pudding shots, made with Jell-O pumpkin pudding mix and RumChata for a bite-sized dessert with a little extra oomph. For guests who don't drink, you can keep the theme going with mocktails or a flavorful punch served in a festive vessel.

Another way to lean into the Halloween vibe if you have the space is to create areas throughout your home (and even outside of it!) that are geared toward specific themes or activities. Switch up the decor from room to room to add a little surprise for guests passing through — one room can be more about classic Halloween, one area could have scarier decor. This encourages guests to explore, move around and mingle, and gives them the opportunity to discover everything you have on offer.

Tip #3: Lean into the nostalgic fun in key areas

Holidays like Christmas are popular because of their sense of family-focused nostalgia, but I'd argue that Halloween has a similar emotional pull thanks to memories of costume parties, trick-or-treating and having fun with friends. Recalling those memories isn't a bad thing, and even for adult parties, a few nostalgic and "youthful" touches can evoke those positive associations with Halloween without descending too far into childishness.

Some ideas for adding a little silly fun to more adult-focused proceedings? Give out favors to guests. It evokes the excitement of trick-or-treating but can be customized to more grown-up sensibilities. We've had custom drinking cups printed for our guests, which make a useful favor and can be filled with candy (because practically everyone likes candy) and other goodies, like Halloween socks, votive candles, koozies, liquor nips, lip balm and more — all easy to buy in bulk.

One addition my guests rave about every year is my "Witches Brew Healing Tonic," which is simply a bit of Pedialyte decanted into a sealable test tube. It's a fun little touch that plays into the Halloween theme while also thoughtfully giving guests a bit of "recovery" from their night of partying, which we all know is more needed the older we get.

Games can also be fun way to inject youthful energy into an adult party. We always have a room dedicated to beer pong (AKA "Pumpkin Pong"), with a tournament taking place over the course of the evening that participants can easily hop into and out of when the mood hits them. The winners of the tournament, of course, score a prize… and who doesn't like winning something?

Tip #4: Encourage (and reward) participation

At the end of the day, any Halloween party is only as successful as the enthusiasm of its host and guests together. If the people on your guest list are game, building in occasions for engagement throughout the evening will keep things interesting, create a natural flow and build excitement for what comes next. The easiest way to do this, of course, is with the whole point of Halloween: costumes.

One rule of thumb? Just about everyone likes winning a brag-worthy trophy.

A costume contest with prizes for the night's best looks can be a fun way to get guests excited about dressing up. I set up a voting station with slips of paper and labeled buckets for guests to submit their picks for Scariest Costume, Best Couples/Group Costume and Best Costume Overall. At midnight, we gather everyone together to announce the winners and hand out trophies and prize bags. The overall winner gets a custom trophy and the "biggest" prize bag, which usually includes a small gift certificate. DIY favors and prizes work just as well if you don't want to spend a ton.

A trivia contest is also a fun passive activity for guests to dip into throughout the night. You can create or find pre-made a variety of Halloween trivia questionnaires, with themes ranging from Halloween history to horror movies. Leave question sheets and plenty of pens in an accessible area and let guests submit their answers at their leisure — then reward the winner at the end of the night.

We know a lot of great cooks, and they love showing off their culinary skills by contributing themed dishes to our party each year.

While it's a good idea to provide plenty of food and drink for your guests, you can also encourage them to bring a dish or beverage to share. Set out little signs or flags so cooks can label what they brought and everyone knows exactly what they're eating.

Tip #5: Create gathering spaces with little surprises

Having a variety of gathering spaces lets guests gravitate toward whatever feels right in the moment. If you have multiple rooms, give each a purpose: a quieter living room for movies and conversation, a dining room or porch for food and drinks and a den for Pumpkin Pong. Don't stress if you're working with a smaller space, though — I've hosted this same party in a little apartment and it worked just fine.

If the weather is agreeable, extend the party outside. Set up s'mores and spooky stories around a fire pit (may I suggest Reese's Pumpkins?), project a Halloween movie onto an exterior wall or add a themed cornhole setup with torch lights.

For the last few years, we've set up a homemade photo booth with instant-print photo strips, and it's been a massive hit. We use our garage, where we hang a photo backdrop, put out some fun props and even project a classic horror movie for anyone who wants a quieter break from the party.

No booth? A designated selfie spot works just as well. Add disposable cameras, instant cameras or an instant photo printer for guests to use. And if you've created several activity areas, a little signage helps make sure no one misses them.

Little surprises also create periodic excitement throughout the evening. I love hiding these pumpkin eggs, Easter egg hunt-style, in different areas across the party space as a sort of passive game. Whenever a guest finds one, they can trade it in to me for a liquor mini or candy. You'd be surprised how many adults love the search and the reward, and guests can choose whether they want to participate or not.

Bonus tip: Do Halloween your way — from planning to hosting

Halloween parties are not one size fits all. While my preferred party is on the high-energy-fun side, you can customize the vibe to your guests — and your own preference. Would you rather host a smaller shindig for a group of foodies? Make it a Halloween dinner or potluck with an emphasis on chatting and chewing. More interested in curating a singular activity that requires little participation or dress-up? Try a Halloween movie marathon. Do whatever you and those you're inviting would enjoy most. And, importantly, know what the guests you are inviting would be up for.

Finally, make sure to strike a balance between attentive hosting and actually enjoying yourself. Running yourself ragged to curate the "perfect" party will only result in stress, and you won't be having any fun. Being a mindful host is important for any party, but if you're not actually having a good time, your guests will notice. And, after all, having fun is the point!
